Pop up shop design around the world
Leading tech brand Dyson popped up among the fashionable names at Lab Concept, courtesy of an innovative pop-up store created by Pico. The 36 sq. m. store was conceived as the ideal way to launch Dyson’s new ‘Supersonic’ hair dryer and showcase its other products right in the heart of its target market – among the young and forward-looking shoppers at Lab Concept, one of Hong Kong’s newest fashion destinations. Between 1 November 2016 and 13 February 2017, visitors to the pop-up store could not only explore Dyson’s product line in realistic conditions.
For Dyson and an increasing number of brands in Hong Kong, the pop-up store concept is an appealing way to connect with customers while avoiding the high rents and long lease commitments of traditional retail spaces. Many brands also use pop-up stores to complement online retail strategies, as they offer potential customers an opportunity to get a real-life ‘feel’ of the products and the brand before they buy.
